Role: Assistant Residential Manager
Term: Full-time/permanent
Location:  Onsite in Gowanda, NY 
Travel:  Candidates must have clean, valid license.  Use of personal vehicle may be required. (mileage reimbursed). 
Work Schedule: 8-4pm Monday - Friday
Compensation:  starting at $19.83 Per Hour

*Candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check through the NYS Office of Mental Health. 

JOB FUNCTION:

This Assistant Residential Manager (ARM) will assist the Residential Manager in the day-to-day operations of our Community Residence. The ARM Supervises CR program staff and service implementation. This individual will provide case management, rehabilitative, and therapeutic services to residents.  The ARM will also be involved in teaching, counseling, and monitoring residents’ activities of daily living in order to develop skills, abilities, and experience that will facilitate more significant opportunities for the resident to live independently. 

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 Education, Experience, and Knowledge

  • BA or BS degree in Human Services or related field. One year experience in human services.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of current issues and concerns of people with mental illness, rehabilitative training methods, and community resources.

 OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Compassion, sensitivity and understanding for individuals suffering from mental illness and substance abuse.  
  • Good written communication and documenting skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
  • Be able to travel to and among various facilities that are multileveled with stairs only.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
  • Ability to use personal vehicle for programmatic purposes.
  • Criminal Background check approved by NYS Office of Mental Health
