Role: Overnight Rehabilitation CounselorTerm: Full-time/permanent
Location: Onsite in Jamestown, NY
Travel: Candidates must have clean, valid license for company and/or personal vehicle use.
Work Schedule: Sat 11pm - Sun 7am, Sun 11pm - Mon 7am, Mon 11pm - Tues 7am, Tues 11pm - Wed 7am. Wed 11pm - Thursday 7am
Compensation: starting at $19.57 Per Hour with high potential for growth

JOB FUNCTION:
This individual will provide case management, rehabilitative, and restorative services to residents within our residential rehabilitation Programs.
DUTIES:
- Provides Case Management within our AWARDS tool
- Monitor’s the resident’s daily activities to ensure a safe and equitable environment.
- Teaches and coaches residents on the skills, abilities, and confidence required to live more independently.
- Medication administration.
- Assists residents with managing their medical and therapy appointments.
- Maintains cleanliness of the residence.
- BS or AS degree in Human Services field of study OR HS diploma with 5 years of human services work experience.
- Must possess knowledge of current issues and concerns of people with mental illness, rehabilitative training methods, and community resources.
- Experience with medication administration.
- Compassion, sensitivity, understanding for individuals suffering from mental illness and substance abuse.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
- Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- May be required to use personal vehicle for programmatic purposes (mileage expensed).
- Criminal Background check approved by NYS Office of Mental Health during onboarding to STEL.
